Seahawks Game

I know that this is a blog mainly for the boys. However, I couldn't resist this post. This fall Tom and I were able to go to a Seahawks game with my sisters and parents. It was tons of fun and so enjoyable to cheer on live our beloved team! 

Sacramento - October 2013

This past October, we travelled to Sacramento, California to visit my grandfather and the boys great grandfather, Tony Praxel. We so enjoyed our stay in Sacramento. Grandpa Tony is a retired Air Force Pilot and has filled most of his home with airplane momentos. Charlie so loved sharing the joy of airplanes with his great grandfather. Here are some photos from our visit with Grandpa, cousins and aunts. 

Second Annual Back Yard Camping

This has become a yearly adventure for Tom and Charlie. What I was told is that for 2014 Gabe and I will be invited as well. It is fun to listen to them chatting while falling asleep. Not sure if I want to join in that adventure, but know I will. 

Canning 2013

I spent a weekend with the boys in Yakima this past fall canning quarts and quarts of tomatoes. We had tons of fun and were very productive in our creations. Charlie was an amazing tomato washer. He washed almost every one of our tomatoes. Gabe did more playing than working. The following two photos are Aunt Kiki teaching the boys how to wash the tomatoes. Look at all those boxes! 

 Not quite done yet, but we are getting there!

 After the canning, we went out into the pears and acquired two boxes of pears to bring home with us. I dried many, made fruit leather and jam with tons of pears. The resulting effect was that we were battling fruit flies for roughly two months in our home. I learned to do this outside next time!

 I think this is such a funny picture. Charlie, Gabe and their cousin Levi were told to wait inside for the tractor to come. Gabe doesn't like begin smushed to the window.

Newman Lake Summer 2013

A summer trip to Newman Lake is always great fun. We were fortunate enough to make that happen the summer of 2013. Here are some fun memories from that time. 

Pasta Making Date

Homemade pasta was on the menu for our date night. As you can see below, Tom mastered the pasta. Lots of fun and laughter, wine, food and great memories. 

Seattle Aquarium Day

On my Monday's off with the boys I try to have a fun adventure day at least once a month. This day was one of those great adventures. The boys sure love the aquarium! 

Priest Lake, Idaho 2013

The boys and I took a solo vacation in the summer of 2013 to Spokane and Priest Lake, Idaho to relax and play with tons of family. These are photos from our time at Elkins Resort. Funny that I didn't get many photos outside of the kids that week. 

We went to the bar several evenings to watch karaoke. The kids loved this time! I even got up there a few times to sing with Maddy and Ella.

 Gabe was my early morning companion. He woke up super early and we went outside to drink coffee and steamers. This way we didn't wake up everyone else.

 Aunt Erin had fun with these kids before she had to leave back to Yakima.

 Uncle Matt and Gabe took advantage of the warm shade and napped together.

 Charlie loved playing with his cousin, Levi. I took them on an adventure walk which showed a new surprise at every turn.
