To Buffalo we go

We recently braved the "friendly" skies so that we could visit our family out east. Our travels were much easier this go round for Charlie. Especially with his new DVD player. As you can see from this picture, he had quite the sweet set-up.

Aunt Carol may not love that she has made our blog, but we were sure excited that we were able to see her this visit. This isn't always the case, so it was extra special.

I have learned that it is difficult to get two squirrelly boys to pose for pictures with their grandparents. I think Gabriel is thinking that Grandpa is much more exciting than mom with the camera. Either way, this is Gabriel Raymond posing with his namesake, Grandpa Raymond.
Apparently this was as good as I got of the four of them. Charlie especially was not in the mood for pictures.
Charlie once again showed a small crush on his uncle Andy. It may have something to do with the fact that he keeps taking him to the Cleveland Hill Fire Hall. This time Charlie was given his own fire hat. Although it was hot that day and his head was completely sweaty, he kept that hat on while trying out all four big rigs and two smaller trucks!
Here uncle Andy is showing Charlie a camera that lets you look through walls for hot spots. If you are a three year-old boy, this is pretty awesome.
The big finale for the day was running through the hose. Charlie giggled and laughed the entire time that hose was on.
