Lots of activity!

I finally felt like I could take Charlie to the Children's Museum in Seattle this past Monday. He certainly remembers the boat, motor bike, bus, and the fire truck. He ran me ragged between all the above mentioned attractions. However, this time he really enjoyed playing the drums. He was a rather serious drummer, but certainly enjoyed the drum stick.
Please ignore the flash in the upper right corner. This was a big moment as Charlie figured out how to climb on the motor bike all by himself! He wasn't really happy though until I sat in the side car so that he could drive us to Maddy and Ella's house - our favorite pretend destination.
Last Sunday we hosted a baby shower for our friends Caroline and Joe. We are so looking forward to meeting their baby in August! Towards the end of the party, most of the kids took off their shirts and formed a band. Here are Auggie, Emmett and Charlie grooving.
We played a game that was done at my baby shower. Each person got to see how much water they could drink out of a bottle in three minutes. It was a blast to watch! Nannette, the woman on the couch won the game. But, everyone else worked hard to clean out that water. Charlie participated with his sippy cup as well.
The Wagner clan enjoys mornings in bed together. Charlie has to have a snack and milk, then we read books. Here is another example of his posed smile for the camera.

Vashon Family Outing

A couple weekends ago, we took the ferry boat over to Vashon Island hoping to see some cows, pigs and chickens. We didn't see the animals, but were able to find a great park!

Charlie met a new friend who asked to ride this tire with him. I love the look he is giving in this shot!
I caught a little smile.
Charlie drove us back to Seattle in the car. As we were the first car, it seemed like Charlie was steering the ferry as well. Here is his current "smile".
Our view of Seattle.
