Children's Museum & friends

This morning I decided to put to use the Children's Museum pass I bought last month when our cousins were in town. We were amongst the first few individuals in the museum, which provided plenty of space for Charlie to play. We had tons and tons of fun.

This is Charlie in the Mexican restaurant fixing me up a snack of tacos and beans. I'm taking the picture from a seating section for serving.

This is one of his favorite stops in the museum. It is a little car which he can drive. It is very funny to watch Charlie when another child comes to play where he is sitting. He, along with many other children we played with today, are not big on sharing.

Charlie has really enjoyed singing "The Wheels on the Bus" lately. So, this Metro Bus was a big highlight today. We did some hand rolling and driving as well. Often I was the rider in the bus for Charlie today.
The other night we had our friends the Yodelings for dinner. It took Charlie about an hour to warm up, but after that, he had tons of fun with Rose and Auggie. These are a few shots of them playing on the kids couch. This was part of Charlie's naked time before pajamas, thus the nakedness.

Daddy & son snow day

Last night we had about three inches of snow fall in our area. This morning Tom decided to have a snow day with Charlie. They spent an hour outside in the snow playing and playing. We think Charlie said "snow" at least 200 times today. Although we can't understand lots of what Charlie tells us these days, we certainly know how much he loves snow.

The only thing better than playing in snow, is playing in the snow with a stick!
Happy boy!

Coloring & Play dough

Recently we moved Charlie's table out to the front room. He has truly loved this change. We have logged many hours sitting playing play dough and coloring. I taped up a few pictures on the wall, as you can see. Charlie then added his own touch with tons of small pieces of tape. We now officially have an art wall with one proud boy.
